Roy (ADOPTED)
Border Collie | male | 7 months old | 25 lbs

My Story
Roy is a rescue from Jeju Island, South Korea. Due to increased cost of transport, adoption donation is a minimum of $625 for puppies from Jeju Island.
Roy was found on the road nearby a gold club on Jeju island. He was on the kill list in the only municipal animal shelter, which gives no mercy to the dogs that stayed over ten days.
We are looking for a home that has experience with border collies or a good knowledge of the breed.
My Personality
Roy is shy so he gets a little timid when he visits a new place. He missed some socialization as a puppy. but he likes to meet and express his happiness to people. He is good with dogs but he has a rough introduction. He could be bossy and chase other dogs, so the foster is working on socializing him. The foster is also taking him to various places and meet new people and dogs to improve his shyness.
He likes all people, but takes a little time to get close with adult men.
Update 11/19 - Roy dislikes children. He gets nervous and barks at them. He also makes potty mistakes when he goes to a new home. We are working on outdoor potty training which he is generally good with but he still makes mistakes at new places.
