*URGENT! FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR MIA!!*

Mia's Story

Mia was a stray dog since her puppy hood. A dog feeder fed her and other homeless dogs and watched her grow up. The neighborhood that these strays lived in was not a “pet friendly” neighborhood; Mia is unwelcome there too. Some local residents reported aggressive dogs to the government to catch stray dogs. She had been brutally captured and sent to an animal shelter that is notorious for its quick euthanasia. So the feeder rescued her before her been put to death by euthanasia. After that, she was sent to a shelter that required payment where they keep dogs in cages all day for 6 months long. Mia had been adopted to a Bay Area family for 6 months and then returned her to HARA as she did not fit well with the family dynamics.

- URGENT! FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR MIA! -

MIA HAS COMPLETED OVER 2 MONTHS OF OBEDIENCE TRAINING

A bond with Mia is truly a special one. She is very much in tune to what we humans are feeling, and thinking. This makes her an extremely rewarding and soulful companion, but it also means that she can get excited easily. In these situations, your calm leadership is what she needs. Once you have earned her trust, she will be forever loyal in ways that most animal lovers could only dream of - In fact, we are pretty sure it’s the kind depicted in movies! Mia is the ultimate companion for someone who understands that relationships are built on communication, trust, respect and love.

Bonus points if you want your dog up on the couch with you, she loves to hop up even when the seating is far too small. It’s quite endearing. Do you go places with your car? She would love that too! Car rides are one of her favorite things. What is her absolute favorite thing, you ask? Belly rubs and cuddling from her favorite humans of course! She will nudge and paw to tell you, “more please!”.
