Wait can be up to 3 hours, depending on airport conditions that day.

You will have the volunteer’s phone number in the pick up email.

MEETING LOCATION

JFK Terminal 1 only has 1 active entrance now, it is a revolving door towards the front. You can't miss it! Once there, the volunteer will be waiting by the elevator on your right-hand side.  

 

  • Signed adoption agreement (if not returned to us electronically).

  • Adoption donation, if not made online

  • Paper towels and waste bags for potty accidents

  • Wire clippers/scissors for opening crates and allen key/wrench for taking crates apart if necessary.

  • Treats for the pups!

  • Airport cart, no need to pay to rent as you can grab abandoned ones in the parking lot or by the entrances

  • ID Tag with HARA number

  • Travel Crate

  • All medical records

  • Friendly company!

*Please note that due to availability, crate size may vary. Crates can be taken apart at airport for transport home.

We would highly recommend keeping the pups in their crates until you get home and can let them out in an enclosed space like your home or yard! You can keep a leash on them and let it drag as they roam in an enclosed space (indoors or outdoors) if you feel they may not recall to you easily.
