Finny's Story

One of our volunteers was told by a neighbor that that they planned to abandon a four month old puppy, Finny. After a deep talk, the volunteer found out that the neighbor found little Finny wandering all alone the street two months ago. The neighbor has two small breeds at her house and she can only let Finny staying at the backyard and feeding him leftovers. Recently she found out that Finny is trying to bite potting and shoes and that’s the reason why she doesn’t want Finny anymore. This was upsetting to us because teething is a natural puppy behavior. Finny had done anything wrong.

The volunteer is worried about that Finny might be wandering alone the street again so she took Finny home and worked hard to find Finny a foster home. Finny is now in a caring foster home and doing well!

Finny is a sweet girl who is well-behaved; though she was a stray dog from the countryside, she is cuddle and friendly to all age of people and dogs, even cats.

She walks nicely on leash with everyone. Finny did show signs of food aggression, but she has gotten past that now; she must have had a hard time on those homeless days.
