My Story
Dudu lived for over 4 years tied up on a chain in a lumber factory in Taiwan along with seven other dogs. They were kept as guard dogs but never had freedom off their chain.
One day, the lumber factory was closing down and they planned on getting rid of all their dogs. Our volunteer knew about this situation and could not bare these the thought of the dogs being abandoned, as they would not be able to survive on their own in the wild since they have always lived tied up. The volunteer took in two of the friendliest of the seven dogs to be fostered and trained for living in a household.
My Personality
Friendly with people and kids. Not recommended for a home with cats - He may chase the cats or squirrels due to a high prey drive. Scared of fireworks. When he meets other dogs at park he may bark loudly out of excitement and as his way of inviting the other dogs to play with him.
He is sweet dog likes to putting his paw on your hand. He also like laying his head on your lap and would want you to pet him.
SOCIALIZATION QUICK FACTS
Comments: Dudu is scared of loud noises and large sudden movements so children that are very rambunctious would not be a good fit. He would stay away.
Dudu is a foodie that he would follow you(with food/treat)around even if you’re a stranger.
DAILY ROUTINE QUICK FACTS
Comments: Resources guarding with other dogs - Dudu does not like to share food or treats with other dogs. Should be fed separately.
Potty trained to go outdoors.
Dudu is not well trained in cars. He stands up on the seats.
