Hey-hey's Story

Hey Hey was abandoned in front of a 7-11 store located in south side of Taiwan, called Kenting, where is one of the most scenic place. I was told that sometimes people from out of town abandon dogs in this area just because they think the dogs would have more chance to survive since some tourists would give them food and that will make them feel not as guilty. However, since Kenting is so famous for its beautiful ocean view. The city government would not want any international tourists get bite by stray dogs. So they always send out dog catcher on weekly basis. Since Hey Hey is such a friendly dog, it will be too easy for them to catch this big, friendly, smiley dog. The city shelter will put a dog down after 12 days. As a result, I decided to bring Hey Hey to where I live, Taipe, which is about 6 hours driving distance. After the vet’s checkup, we found out he is healthy except too skinny.
Hey Hey has stayed in commercial foster home ever since been rescued.

Get to Know Hey-hey

Hey Hey is always friendly with any people and dogs. He might not be the youngest dog for adoption, but I will say he is young at heart. He likes to play toys as a puppy. He loves to play with puppies. All his best friends are puppies. He is also very peaceful. During the first week in the foster home, some dogs tried to give him trouble, even he is bigger, and he has never fight back. All he did is try to please them. So he will fit new home in easily. He is very obedient too. He likes to follow people around, so he will make a great companion dog. He likes to poop and pee outdoors. He will be great for both house and apartment environment. Since he has such a great nature. I hope he can find a permanent home very soon.

ANY OTHER ISSUES? : His right ear is smaller, likely caused by a past *hematoma. He was born with only 3 toes on one of his back paws, but he plays just like a normal dog! Hey-hey has a clean bill of health.

A hematoma is defined as a localized collection of blood outside the blood vessels. Aseroma is similar except that the fluid accumulation contains only serum without red blood cells being present. Hematomas and seromas can occur anywhere in the body. Subdermal hematomas/seromas form under the skin and are probably the most commonly type of hematoma or seroma. -via petmd.com
