CELIA

terrier + formosan mountain dog mix | spayed female | 5 months | 20 lbs

Celia's Story

Celia and Daisy were found as stray puppies in the mountains of Taiwan. Unsuspecting puppies are especially vulnerable to various perils, including being captured and euthanized in a government shelter. These two were particularly friendly to humans, which is why I rescued them.

Get to Know Celia

Celia has adjusted quickly to our home and family. The very first thing she did when I met her, was jump into my arms and give me kisses! She is incredibly affectionate and loves humans, males and females equally. She is unfazed by our larger, dominant dog and has even become buddies. While Celia loves running around the house and thrashing her Lambchop toy around, she is also very observant and understands the mood of the house (ours is relaxed). She understands when to play and when not to. We are working on her house training, she is able to sleep through the whole night without making a peep. Celia is also comfortable on car rides and does not show any signs of nervousness in any situation... aside from the time she wet herself when meeting a large pit bull! We were able to give her a bath, handle her with no problem. We have not heard her bark yet, she may whimper occasionally if she wants your attention but it is just so cute. She is your typical, playful puppy with an extra dose of sweetness.
