My Story

Betsy was trapped in the cage set up by a TNR(Trap, Neuter,Release) group when she was 6-m- o; they cut her right ear to mark spayed her. She was staying in vet hospital for two weeks to cure her right eye before release. The staffs of vet hospital told us though Betsy is shy but she is very docile, so we decide to give her a chance to be adopted so we send her to foster home to socialize for adoption.

We are sorry for Betsy’s right eye, it is till lost vision after treatment, we don’t change mind to work for her, she is deserved to get a home since she is super friendly and docile.

My Personality

Betsy was very skittish and reserved when she started living in foster home. It took foster family a while to gradually bond with her, and then guided her to interact with humans, other dogs and even cats. Finally, she let herself out thru the lead of leash and a sweet puppy who befriended her and taught her how good it felt to cuddle and show affection with humans. Now she is sweet and loving; she adores being petted. She becomes sociable; she’s comfortable around strangers and new environments. She walks in busy streets with confidence, and no longer has problem interacting with strangers. She enjoys the companion of dogs in her foster home a lot. Her favorite pastime is hanging out with dogs in doggie park and her daily walks. She’s good with cats, and she is friendly with children too.

Comments: Shy but allows strangers to pet her
